"The promoters of Cocido del Porco Celta met yesterday to hold a double tasting and a discussion table on the gastronomy of the Sarria Councils that participate in the Camino.
The event took place at the Sociedad Recreativa la Unión.
The first of the activities consisted of a round table on the origins of the Celtic pork and the stew. Gourmets participated, the journalist Lois Celeiro, the restaurateur of the hotel Roma Pepe Fontal, the head of the Lalinense restaurant Cabanas, Alejandro Iglesias, the representative of Asoporcel, Iván Rodríguez and the head of the Lugo tourism service, Paloma Vazquez.
On the other hand, the first of the tastings was held: “Cross-Border Tasting”. Marks from 10 Denominations of origin from all over Spain that belong to the French Way, predominantly reserves and author.
The jury was chaired by the head of the Galician Association of Winemakers, Luis Buitrón, together with his secretary general, Pablo Estévez.
