Description
The church of Santiago de Triacastela was built in Romanesque times (renovated in the 18th century). It currently conserves almost all of its plant, made on blackboard. The facade and the tower, Nevertheless, they are of later construction, date from 1790.
The facade, which is adorned with the three castles that give the place its name, it has a tower of three bodies.
The image of the Apostle Santiago on horseback presides over the main altarpiece of this church, which is baroque style.
