The Sarria river through Samos

In respectful procession, the Sarria passes before the magnificent monastery of the town, like a river of holy water. The shadowy landscape where the monastery is located invites a Benedictine silence.

The chronicler is reminded that one of the stages of the Santiago's road, and the Sarria passes through the town on its pilgrimage to the sea that, as Jorge Manrique said, is dying. The riverside trees make a corridor for it, brandishing his wooden sabers.
